Appeals Court Rules Students at Fake Michigan University Can Sue U.S. Government

An appeals court has ruled that students who were enrolled in the fake University of Farmington in Michigan have the right to sue the U.S. government. The university was established by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. government as part of a sting operation targeting student visa fraud.

The students, primarily from India, allege that they were unwittingly recruited to the sham institution by government agents. They claim they were misled into believing that paying the $11,000 annual tuition would grant them legal student visas. . .
