A new report released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has shed further light on the tragic Uvalde school shooting, blaming local law enforcement for critical delays in stopping the gunman who killed 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in May 2022. The CBP agents, who ultimately ended the standoff by fatally shooting the gunman, waited more than an hour before entering the classroom due to a lack of clear instructions from local authorities.
