A former FBI informant has pleaded guilty to federal charges for fabricating claims that President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, accepted $5 million in bribes from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Alexander Smirnov, a 44-year-old dual U.S.-Israeli citizen, admitted in court to creating a false narrative that became central to political and public scrutiny of the Bidens.
