New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is set to begin a family vacation on Saturday, likely leaving a significant decision pending for when he returns. Murphy's vacation, which will last until August 11th, coincides with the imminent resignation of Senator Bob Menendez, slated to take effect on August 20th. Consequently, it is unlikely that the Governor will announce his interim pick to replace Menendez before his return.
