Johns Hopkins Announces $1 Billion Gift for Free Tuition

Johns Hopkins University has announced a transformative $1 billion gift from Bloomberg Philanthropies that will significantly alleviate the financial burden for its medical students. Effective this fall, most medical students from families earning less than $300,000 annually will no longer have to pay tuition. Additionally, students from families with incomes below $175,000 will also have their living expenses fully covered by the university.
