Governor Wes Moore Provides Key Bridge Update
In Baltimore, Maryland, Governor Wes Moore has announced significant progress in the recovery efforts at the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse site. Crews have successfully lifted more than 120 containers from the wreckage, marking substantial advancement toward the target of removing 140 containers. The governor also highlighted the removal of 1,300 tons of steel from the Patapsco River, underscoring the intensive cleanup operation following the tragic incident on March 26th, when a cargo ship collided with the bridge, causing it to collapse.
