Major League Baseball announces the lifetime ban of San Diego Padres infielder Tucupita Marcano for betting violations. Marcano is permanently banned after the league's investigation revealed he bet over $150,000 on baseball games.
In addition to Marcano, four other players receive one-year suspensions for violating MLB's strict gambling policy.
