For the fourth time in five days, Russian military aircraft have been detected near Alaskan airspace, according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Over the weekend, NORAD intercepted two Russian IL-38 military planes flying within Alaska's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The aircraft did not enter U.S. or Canadian sovereign airspace, but their repeated presence has drawn concern from U.S. officials.
