South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS) has confirmed that North Korea has dispatched 1,500 special forces troops to Russia, heightening concerns over the deepening military cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow in the ongoing war in Ukraine. In a statement released Friday, the NIS revealed that these troops are being sent to Russia for training purposes, potentially signaling further involvement in the conflict.
