StubHub Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Predatory Pricing Tactics

A new lawsuit accuses online ticket platform StubHub of using predatory tactics to deceive customers into paying more than they initially expect. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday by Washington, D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb, alleges that StubHub entices customers with lower ticket prices before adding significant fees at the final stage of the purchase process. According to the suit, this practice violates D.C.'s consumer protection laws.
