U.S. Air Force Locates Wreckage and Remains of Osprey Aircraft Off Coast of Japan

The U.S. Air Force has confirmed that the wreckage and the remains of five crew members aboard a military aircraft have been located off the coast of Japan. The aircraft, identified as an Osprey, crashed during a training exercise last week, prompting an extensive search operation.

A search team successfully located the wreckage of the Osprey, and this discovery follows the recovery of the body of one victim. The identified crew member is Staff Sergeant Jacob Galliher, hailing from Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The confirmation of Galliher's identity was made on Saturday.
